The Wine Project invites you into a world of intrigue and aroma, of ritual and revelry, of sex and power, creating a magic, dangerous and ancient story of tending the vines, crushing the grapes, and fermenting the juice.

Inhale the sensuous scent of crushed cinnamon and star anise. Bright berry fruit gently framed by autumnal, forest-floor notes with hints of chocolate, coffee and spice. A lush bacchanal on wine barrels, seductive live music and the intrigue a glass of wine can hold.

Recently returned from an award-winning season in Edinburgh and critically-acclaimed tours across NZ, Java Dance Theatre combine live music, theatre and dance to capture audiences all over the world.

“This is a dance of joy you feel to the extreme, a drama you know in your soul, a dark secret we share that you won’t admit is yours.” Theatreview, Nelson, 2015
