Tempo Dance Festival is the annual dance festival presented by the New Zealand Dance Festival Trust actively promoting dance at all levels and across all forms and communities, serving 700+ dancers (60% of which are under the age of 25) and 8,000+ audience members and participants.
Tempo celebrates its 13th festival in 2016 and includes professional, emerging, student, cultural, community and youth dance across a wide array of dance genre.
Tempo 2016 takes place 4 - 16 October at Q Theatre, 305 Queen Street in the heart of Auckland City, with a one-off FREE Move Ya Body event in Aotea Square with Gandalf Archer Mills and DJ Arhoa on Sat, 24 September.

Tempo accepts Expressions of Interest from individual artists and choreographers, companies, dance groups, studios, students and schools each year.
